AW20198E is an 18x11 matrix LED driver programmed via an SPI compatible interface. Each channel has individual 8-bit DC current setting for color-mixing ａｎｄ 8-bit PWM current setting for brightness control. The global current of each channel is configured via register GCCR ａｎｄ external resistor REXT. Three integrated pattern controllers provide auto breathing ｏｒ group dimming control. Each pattern controller can work ｉｎ auto breathing ｏｒ manual control mode. All breathing parameters are configurable, including rising/falling slope, on/off time, repeat times, ａｎｄ minimum/maximum brightness, etc. Each LED’s PWM parameter can be sourced from any one of the 3 pattern controllers optionally. Phase-delay, phase-inverting, selectable three phase, spread spectrum ａｎｄ slew rate control technology are utilized to reduce EMI ａｎｄ audible noise caused by MLCC when LEDs turn on ｏｒ off simultaneously. AW20198E can be turned off with minimum current consumption by either pulling the EN pin low ｏｒ using the software reset. AW20198E operates over the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
