Description

The AW85825 is a high-efficiency, stereo digital Class-D audio amplifier with low power dissipation and sound enrichment. The supply voltage (PVDD) of an audio amplifier is normally provided by a DC-DC converter. Compared with a fixed PVDD, a variable PVDD that fluctuates based on the audio signal significantly improves efficiency, lowers idle current, and reduces heat. The powerful audio DSP core of AW85825 implements a proprietary algorithm called PTC(Power tracking Control).The PTC algorithm detects the upcoming audio power demand and provides a PWM control signal for the former DC-DC converter via the GPIO pin. The AW85825 supports Over-Current Protection, Over-Temperature Protection, DC Protection, Under-Voltage/Over-Voltage Protection, short-circuit Protection to protect the device. AW85825 is available in a WBQFN 5X5-32L(0.75) Package.
