The AW88194 is an I2S/TDM input, high efficiency digital Smart K audio amplifier with an integrated 10.25V smart boost converter and SKTune speaker protection algorithms. Due to its 12uV noise floor and ultra-low distortion, clean listening is guaranteed. It can deliver 5.3W output power into an 8Ω speaker at 1% THD+N.
The AW88194 integrates SKTune speaker protection algorithm that includes membrane excursion control algorithm and coil temperature protection algorithm. The SKTune speaker protection algorithm maximizes speaker performance while maintaining safe speaker conditions.
The AW88194 integrates a high-efficiency smart boost converter as the Class-D amplifier supply rail. The output voltage of boost converter can be adjusted smartly according to the input amplitude, which extremely improves the efficiency without clipping distortion.
The AW88194 features high RF suppression and eliminates TDD noise completely benefited from the digital audio input interface. General settings are communicated via an I2C-bus interface, and the device address is configurable.
The AW88194 offers Short Circuit Protection, Over-Temperature Protection, Under-Voltage Protection and Over-Voltage Protection to protect the device.
