The AW85815 is a high-efficiency, stereo digital class D audio amplifier with low power dissipation and sound enrichment.
The device employs a multiple switching frequency option and Spread Spectrum technology to enhance EMI performance, avoid AM/FM interferences.
The powerful audio DSP core of AW85815 implements a proprietary algorithm called PTC (Power tracking Control), The PTC algorithm detects the upcoming audio power demand and provides a PWM control signal for the former DC-DC converter via the GPIO pin. Compared with a fixed PVDD, a variable PVDD that fluctuates based on the audio signal significantly improves efficiency, lowers idle current, and reduces heat.
AW85815 supports Over-Current Protection, Over-Temperature Protection, DC Protection, Under-Voltage/Over-Voltage Protection, short-circuit Protection to protect the device.
AW85815 is available in a WBQFN-5X5 32L Package.
