AW32257 is a high efficiency, large current,switch- mode Li-Ion battery charge management chip. The chip integrates 1.5 MHz synchronous Buck PWM controller, Boost PWM controller and power MOSFETs, effectively reducing the power loss.
The charge process of AW32257 includes: trickle, constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV). The charge parameters and operating modes are programmable through I2C Interface. Also, the charge termination is determined by a programmable algorithm. The charge process runs automatically and recharging occurs when the battery voltage drops below VOREG-VRCH.
