【awinic inside】From "Capable of Grasping" to "Skilled at Grasping": awinic's Driver Solution Empowers Vanex Dexterous Hand Debut at WAIC 2026, Unlocking New AI Robot Interaction Experiences

2026-07-20

On July 17, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance (WAIC) opened in Shanghai. General Secretary attended the conference and delivered a keynote address, emphasizing the need to uphold openness and mutual benefit, drive innovation-driven development, seize opportunities presented by technological transformation, advance AI technological innovation and scenario deployment, enable AI to empower all industries, and promote the healthy, safe, and orderly development of artificial intelligence.

At this exhibition, the Vanex Dexterous Hand series made a debut. This product combines fine manipulation capabilities with industrial-grade load capacity, capable of performing a variety of complex actions such as grasping, holding, pinching, twisting, and lifting. While balancing "dexterity" and "strength," it breaks through the limitations of traditional grippers in flexible operations, moving robots from "capable of grasping" to "skilled at grasping." Through innovative AI robot practices, it implements the "AI+" industrial deployment, helps expand the future emerging robotics industry, and embodies the people-centered, upward-and-goodward AI development philosophy through physical intelligent equipment innovation.

awinic's AI Robot Solution Empowers the Vanex Dexterous Hand Series

Intelligence connects all things; dexterity shapes the future

1.     Motor Driver
Humanoid robot dexterous hands face multiple power design challenges in terms of power drive, stable operation, and intelligent interaction. awinic offers an integrated driver chip selection solution for this scenario: a motor driver that integrates an H-bridge, current sense feedback, current regulation, and various protection circuits. With a 3.6A high-current output, it ensures sufficient driving force for the dexterous hand, delivering strong power and stable operation while maintaining quiet performance and long service life.

2.     awinic's Complete AI Robot Hardware Solution Empowers the Service Robot Industry
Previously, eight ministries and commissions jointly issued the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Development of 'AI + Consumption,'" which explicitly supports the R&D of multi-modal perception humanoid robots and promotes the demonstration and application of elderly care companion robots and household service robots. Guided by these policies, awinic offers system-level chip solutions for humanoid robots across full scenarios including home and commercial services, leveraging solid technical expertise and a comprehensive product portfolio to inject stronger and smarter "core" power into humanoid robots.
