On June 26, the 4th China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (Chain Expo) concluded successfully in Beijing. As a national-level supply chain exhibition platform, this year's Chain Expo featured a dedicated AI zone for the first time, showcasing achievements across the entire cloud-edge collaborative AI industry chain. Intel made its appearance at the expo under the theme "AI Implementation, Built on Chips," focusing on the full industry chain ecosystem and scenario-based applications, with displays covering AI PCs, AI servers, edge computing, embodied intelligence, and intelligent vehicles.

During the exhibition, Intel debuted two scenario-specific solutions: "In-Vehicle AI Box Ultra" and "AI Home Brain." In the AI PC ecosystem display zone, the company highlighted its industrial ecosystem partners. As a core partner in Intel's AI PC ecosystem, Awinic's brand logo was also featured on the industry ecosystem display board. Leveraging its five core mixed-signal product lines—"Audio, Optical, Electrical, RF, and Haptic"—Awinic is empowering AI PC industry upgrades, delivering a comprehensive solution suite tailored for next-generation AI PCs across all scenarios. This covers audio interaction, port protection, smart touch, power management, and other key areas. The solutions further enhance the multimodal interaction and low-power operation capabilities of on-device AI terminals, providing robust hardware support for the high-quality collaborative development of the AI PC industrial ecosystem.

1. Audio PA + Self-Developed Audio Algorithms: Reshaping the Smart Interactive Audio Experience for AI PCs

With AI PCs equipped with local NPU computing power, functions such as AI voice interaction, smart conferencing, and multimedia entertainment have become core standard features. This significantly raises the bar for voice clarity, ambient noise reduction, and immersive stereo effects, making traditional audio solutions inadequate for the upgraded demands. To address this industry challenge, Awinic has launched the single-channel 25W/30W high-performance audio PAs—AW85180 and AW85281 series—providing core hardware and algorithm support for AI PC audio upgrades.

Among them, the AW85180 features a highly integrated design with a built-in dedicated DSP computing unit and incorporates Awinic's self-developed audio algorithm: the awinicSKTune® algorithm. Empowered by AI algorithms, the solution accurately performs voice enhancement, soundfield surround, and noise suppression, while also intelligently identifying and suppressing special timbres such as sibilance and piano tones. This effectively resolves issues like blurred human voices in remote meetings, ambient noise interference, and distorted multimedia audio, making it ideally suited for all AI PC audio application scenarios, including conferencing, voice interaction, and multimedia entertainment.

2. High-Power Port OVP Protection: Adapting to the High-Power Consumption Upgrade Trend of AI PCs

Compared to traditional PCs, AI PCs deliver greater computing power and support parallel AI multitasking, resulting in significantly higher overall power consumption. Higher input voltages (28V) and larger input currents (5A–8A) are being progressively adopted by PC manufacturers, placing higher demands on port protection in terms of power capacity, stability, and safety.

To address the high-power operation requirements of AI PCs, Awinic has launched the AWP32109, a 224W (28V/8A) high-power port OVP protection solution. This solution boasts ultra-high power handling capability, stably adapting to high-frequency scenarios such as full-load AI PC operation, high-power peripheral connections, and fast charging. It effectively protects against various port risks, including voltage surges, instantaneous overloads, and electrostatic discharges.

3. Smart Trackpad Solution: Upgrading the Technological and Interactive Experience of AI PC Human-Machine Interaction

Human-machine interaction experience is a core dimension of differentiated competition for AI PCs. Traditional PC touchpads support only basic click and swipe operations, offering a single interaction mode that cannot meet the intelligent and refined operational demands of AI PCs. Awinic's pressure-sensing AW86803 + Haptic AW869x7 series Smart Trackpad solution achieves a comprehensive revolution in PC touch interaction.

This solution integrates high-precision pressure sensing with immersive haptic feedback technology, supporting multi-level pressure-sensitive operations. It can trigger different interactive commands based on press intensity, adapting to new scenarios such as smart office shortcuts, fine-tuned screen control, and intelligent gesture interactions. Additionally, the solution features excellent water and dust resistance, effectively protecting against spills and dust ingress in daily use, significantly enhancing device durability and suiting a variety of environments, including office, mobile, and outdoor settings. Beyond practical upgrades, it completely moves away from the monotonous interaction mode of traditional touchpads, comprehensively enhancing the technological appeal and premium feel of AI PCs, and helping end products achieve differentiated upgrades.

Leveraging its high-performance mixed-signal, power management, and signal chain IC design capabilities, Awinic has simultaneously developed a humanoid robot system-level solution.
