The AWS73431 shunt voltage reference series launched by AWINIC includes two products: AWS73431BESTR and AWS73431AESTR. The differences between them can be interpreted through the product sequence shown in Picture 1. Within the applicable temperature range, both products can meet the specified thermal stability requirements.
The AWS73431 can set the output voltage to any value between VREF (2.495V) and 36V through two external resistors, with a typical output impedance of 0.2Ω. The active output circuit of this product has significant conduction characteristics, so it is very suitable for replacing Zener diodes in many application scenarios, such as board-level regulators, adjustable power supplies, switching power supplies, server power supplies, industrial AC/DC power supplies, AC inverters, variable frequency drives, and power adapters.

01 High-precision reference voltage
The AWS73431 integrates a 2.495V precision reference source, with a low temperature drift of 20ppm/℃ and excellent stability across the full temperature range. It can replace traditional Zener diodes and improve system accuracy.
02 Wide range of adjustable outputs
The AWS73431 can freely set the output voltage in the range of 2.495V to 36V through external voltage divider resistors, meeting different circuit requirements.
03 Fast dynamic response and low power consumption
The AWS73431 has an output impedance of only 0.2Ω and a response time as short as microseconds, making it particularly suitable for transient scenarios such as switching power supplies. The quiescent current is as low as 0.2mA, contributing to low-power design.
04 Miniaturized package and strong compatibility
The AWS73431 adopts a miniaturized surface-mount package SOT23-3L, with a compact size and moderate pin spacing. It balances welding convenience and layout density, reducing PCB wiring crosstalk.
