Recently, awinic was named as 2019 "specialized, refined, peculiar and new" enterprise of Shanghai.

The application for the "specialized, refined, peculiar and new" enterprise started from July last year and it refer to small and medium-sized enterprises with the characteristics of "specialization, refinement, peculiarity, and novelty". They are generally concentrated in the new-generation industries such as information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials and biomedicine.


What is "specialized, refined, peculiar and new" enterprise?


Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) generally have their own shortcomings such as small scale and inadequate capability to resist risks. Taking the development path of "specialization, refinement, peculiarity, and novelty" is necessary to improve the overall quality of SMEs and to upgrade the industrial organization structure in China.
