From March 12 to 16, Awinic was invited to the ACT (Arrow Centralized Training Asia 2018) and on-site Solution Showcase that shows semiconductor industry's most advanced products and technology. ACT is an annual event held by international well-known electronic components distributor Arrow. Awinic's five product lines of "Audio, LED Driver, Power Management, RF Device and Touch Key Sereies" made the debut and attracted a large number of audience, suppliers and partners.
This year, Arrow's Solution Showcase was presented with the theme "innovation: automotive, IoT and robotics". It is reported the exhibition has attracted more than 70 well-known companies such as electronic components suppliers, startups, tech companies in the fields of automotive, IoT and robotics, and had also attracted application customers from many industries.
Awinic's “Five Product Lines” Debuted in ACT 2018
The annual Arrow Centralized Training aims to provide more opportunities for bigwigs in electronic/semiconductor industry to display their new scientific research technology outside large product launch or new product introduction, etc. Previous ACTs only allowed ACT's participants to attend, but from last year, the organizers started to invite people from the industry to visit. Such new pattern has brought the most cutting-edge and innovative technology solutions and applications to the exhibitors.
As the new face of ACT, Awinic's booth aroused curiosity of the audience with many Demo products and applications of "Audio, LED Driver, Power Management, RF Device and Touch Key Series": everyone wanted to experience the Demo LED driver chips with audio synchronization. Customers could have a deeper understanding about current popular light effect and Awinic's distinctive products through Awinic's creative color-changing effect solutions in the areas of mobile phone and IoT.
On the exhibition, many visitors discussed with Awinic's professional technical personnel about the application fields of specific products, comparative advantages as well as opportunities for cooperation. The procurement and operation personnel of a global leading electronics fab went to Awinic's booth and asked about products in detail, saying that many high-end customers have clear demands for using Awinic products. Two parts will expand in-depth cooperation comprehensively in the near future.
Awinic's Speech was Acclaimed on the Technology Session
During Technology Session on March 15, Colin Yen, Awinic's BD Director and Director of Overseas Technical Services was invited to conduct professional technical training for Arrow’s FAE. With vivid graphic and professional presentation, he illustrated the application scenarios and core technology advantages of the star products of "Audio, LED Driver, Power Management, RF Device and Touch Key Sereies". The FAEs on site showed great interests in the application of LED Driver, Haptic Driver and other products in IoT.
After the training, some audiences said though the speech was not long, it was quite beneficial. For various client application needs proposed in the interactive part, FAEs could find suitable and even better solutions in Awinic's five product lines, which will be a great help for FAEs to carry out their future technical work.
Awinic will be a member of Arrow Open Lab
In February, Arrow announced the expansion of its Arrow Open Lab in Hong Kong. It will provide Sensor-to-Cloud-to-Analytics (IoT) technology to the new Sensor Hub in Hong Kong Science Park to jointly boost innovation and development of local start-ups and tech companies in the fields of IoT and smart city.
It is reported that Awinic products of all product lines will soon be settled in Arrow Open Lab. By then, through open data sharing, engineers and programmers can share infrastructure, Arrow's engineering expertise, and many product demos and applications (including high-quality awinic chips) to help start-ups bring IoT and sensing technology to the market faster and at a lower cost.
Founded in last year, Arrow Open Lab is an open platform for entrepreneurs, companies and organizations in Hong Kong who are interested in developing innovative technologies and products. According to incomplete statistics, Open Lab has provided technical guidance for more than 100 engineers.
