The AW88470CSR is an I2S/TDM input, high efficiency digital Smart K audio amplifier with an integrated 12V smart boost converter. Due to its 7μV noise floor and ultra-low distortion, clean listening is guaranteed. It can deliver 6.9W output power into an 8Ω speaker at a battery voltage of 4.4V.
The AW88470CSR integrates a high-efficiency smart boost converter as the Class-D amplifier supply rail. The output voltage of boost converter can be adjusted smartly according to the input amplitude, which extremely improves the efficiency without clipping distortion.
The AW88470CSR features high RF suppression and eliminates TDD noise completely benefited from the digital audio input interface. General settings are communicated via an I2C-bus interface, and the device address is configurable.
The AW88470CSR offers Short Circuit Protection, Over-Temperature Protection, Under-Voltage Protection and Over-Voltage Protection to protect the device.
The AW88470CSR features Power Saving Mode (PSM), a feature developed specifically for batteries life extension, which helps reduce power consumption and noise during small output. By switching output power rail according to different input amplitude, system can achieve a better performance of efficiency and noise.
