The AW36428 is a inductorless single channel 1.5A Flash LED driver that provides a high level of adjustability within a ultra-small solution size. The AW36428 can produce up to 1.5 A of LED flash current in up to 375 mA of torch current. The AW36428 provides IVFM protection mode to prevent system reset in shutdown under low battery condition.
The AW36428 is controlled via an I2C-compatible interface. The main features of the AW36428 include: flash / torch / IR current, flash timeout duration and IVFM. The AW36428 also provides hardware flash pin (STROBE) to control flash event.
The device operates over a –40°C to +85°C ambient temperature range.
The AW36428 is available in small 0.4mm pitch 1.6mm×1.2mm FCQFN-10L package.
